Uncomfortable Art Biennale Amsterdam
I designed a corporate identity for the Uncomfortable Art Biennale in Amsterdam.
The logo is dynamic, which means it takes on a different form. I gave the letters different spacing to highlight the "uncomfortable" side to reading, because it's not always immediately legible. I personally, find variable spacing and kerning very uncomfortable to read.
The artwork shown on the branding is a small selection of the artwork that's displayed during the exposition. All of the artwork is made not to disgust, but to leave a message that gets under your skin.
The Uncomfortable Art Biennale Amsterdam identity consists of three posters, a brochure, business cards, envelopes, stationary paper, and a website.
